Rishikesh — Be a Leaner
I would like to take this space to talk about my role as a student. I have always managed to play this role beautifully without much effort, both as an ideal student and as an evergreen learner. Till my 9th grade, I was dumb & a below-average scorer. Our teachers don’t appreciate a dumb student, they evaluate a student based on their marks & stuff. I have witnessed only a bunch of teachers who cared for me for who I truly was. They uplifted me as a result and because of their grace, I am who I am now. That day I understood, in life, only a bunch will know your true worth. I did all it took to be better at studies or maybe it was just that I loved learning. I am not a book worm or miner, I first understood concepts & then wrote whatever I felt right in the examination. I trust in the use of intellect, more than the application of memory (Rattofying). Likewise, studying or being a student was just a medium for me, it’s just that I enjoy playing the game of a student or a learner. Above that, I think I am a learner, a continuous learner. No matter what happens in life or in the world, learning is something that I cannot stop. As it’s the only thing that has kept me in check. If I don’t learn new things every day or week, I fear stagnating myself. This sometimes overloads my brain, fogs it to the extent of inconclusiveness. I don’t want to act like a confused individual, who procrastinates at every look of a difficult situation. I don’t want to wet my pants whenever a situation arrives on my face, that is why I keep studying/learning whatever one may like to call it. I also like to sing, motivate, negotiate stuff & write my thoughts. As a learner, I like to collect knowledge, and after learning the stuff, I love to share the same with the ones who need it. Need is continuous, so is the value of knowledge. There is an old saying “when we share knowledge it multiplies”.

1. Ever Young- How? Learners are always curious (seekers) & curiosity is a quality of being young.
2. A learner says “What I don’t know, I don’t know”
3. This world is infinite & full of possibilities- A learner knows this.
